Apple’s long-rumored over-ear headphones will be called AirPods Studio, and the headphone launch will be coming in the relatively near future (end of 2020).
As per our new sources, Apple is suggested to release its Apple Airpod studio (Over-Ear headphone) by the end of 2020, with an update to the earlier report claiming that suppliers in Vietnam will begin shipments to Apple in June or July, but the report suggests that the manufacturing of the new headphones is already underway.
As Apple will not be continuing its wired earphones and will be launching the wireless – headphone, Apple will resume normal shipments for AirPods 2 by the end of this year and its new over-ear headphones, dubbed AirPods Studio, has also started the production.
Although it certainly looks like a launch is coming very soon this year and mention comes in a bigger picture about circuit board suppliers for the AirPods lineup and don’t include any other details on the AirPods Studio.
In the next month of June 2020, Apple’s virtual Worldwide Developers Conference will be held which is a good opportunity to introduce the new headphones, although the headphone is not a developer-focused product and so Apple will opt for a separate launch so as to not distract from the focus of the event.
As per the new rumors, The new Airpods studio is set to be priced at $349 price point matching the Beats Studio3 pricing, a pair of models that come in premium leather-like fabrics, headband and ear padding that connects magnetically for the easy exchange, and embedded sensors for neck and head detection and automatically route to the right and left audio channels to the exact earcups irrespective on whichever the way the headphones are worn.
